The Sequestration lie.....or is that the wrong word, Candy?
Why I cannot vote for President Obama, reason #3
From the third Presidential Debate:
OBAMA: "Bob, I just need to comment on this. First of all, the sequester is not something that I've proposed. It is something that Congress has proposed. It will not happen."
Not your idea? Really? How about your house then?
John Boehner thinks otherwise:
“The sequester originated from this White House, yet it refuses to level with the American people about the devastating impact it will have on our country,” House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said in a statement.
I know, we cannot trust John Boehner. Okay, how about Bob Woodward?
“What the president said is not correct,” Woodward told POLITICO Tuesday. “He’s mistaken. And it’s refuted by the people who work for him.”

Woodward reports in his book that White House Office of Management Director Jack Lew and Legislative Affairs Director Rob Nabors took the proposal for sequestration to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and then it was presented to congressional Republicans.[Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1012/82772.html#ixzz2ABGimvzc ]
Either you lied, Mr. President, or you do not know what your staff and directors are doing while you golf; both scare me. Neither option provides me any comfort as you command the helm of this great country.
Why can't you simply state what you believe? Why is your whole campaign about what Mitt Romney cannot do?
Leaders lead, they guide, they give straight and honest answers to hard questions and tough problems. You do not. You run under the cover of sarcasm and hide behind the protection of the media. You are no leader. You are not worth another four years.
